Engineering
Ned
brings over forty years of LNG and gas processing
experience to the podium in engineering studies,
conceptual process design, start-up, fabrication,
project engineering, and project management. Fields
of experience include LNG, refinery, gas liquids
recovery, offshore, petrochemical, and gas treating
facilities.
Before joining Mustang in December 2003, Ned
worked for Bechtel Global Gas Group where he was
Project Director for the Darwin LNG facility,
responsible for engineering, procurement, and
construction. Prior to that, he was the Project
Manager for the Atlantic LNG Trinidad facility,
responsible for overseeing engineering, procurement,
and construction management.
Ned has a degree from Rice University in Chemical
Engineering, is a registered professional engineer
in the State of Texas, and holds numerous patents
- most recently a series of patents under the
moniker, LNG Smart which offer new design
products and services for LNG liquefaction, storage
and regasification facilities to support gas commercialization
in remote oil and gas fields.
Jean-Pascal
Biaggi, vice president, Genesis France
Jean-Pascal Biaggi graduated from ENSTA (Ecole
Nationale Supérieure des Techniques Avancées),
Paris, as a naval architect in 1975, and received
a MBA from IAE (Institut d'Administation des Entreprises),
Paris, in 1977. He worked for 13 years for Total,
from 1978 to 1991, primarily in the North Sea
on offshore and subsea pipeline projects. In 1991,
he joined, as Managing Director, Gaztransport
& Technigaz, the French leading naval engineering
company specialized in liquefied natural gas tankers
and storages. He joined the Technip Group in 2001
to establish Genesis France, the Paris Branch
of Genesis Oil & Gas Consultants Ltd.. He
is also responsible for the Offshore LNG developments
of the Group within the Oil & Gas Division.
Joseph
H. Cho, technical advisor, Kellogg Brown and Root,
Inc.
Joseph
Cho is a Technical Advisor in the LNG, GTL and
Gas Processing Division at KBR. He is a registered
professional engineer and has been in the LNG
industry for sixteen years. He was involved in
process design of LNG liquefaction plants and
import terminals for various regions as a senior
engineer. He graduated from the University of
Oklahoma with a Ph.D. degree in Petroleum Engineering.
Masao
Endo, manager, Kobe Steel
Mr.
Masao Endo is a manager of Takasago Equipment
Plant, Kobe Steel, a leading steel, aluminum copper
company in Japan, also major fabricator of heavy
wall pressure vessel, aluminum heat exchanger
and LNG vaporizers.
He has 19 years experience of energy and high
pressure gas handling system engineering, including
gas separation plant engineering, adsorbent process,
high pressure hydrogen/oxygen facilities. His
recent involvement includes ORV, SCV, AFV (direct
Air Fin Vaporizer) and HWV (Hot Water bath Vaporizer)
engineering and projects.
Mr. Endo earned his bachelor's degree at Tokyo
University in aeronautical engineering. He lives
in a suburb of Kobe city in Japan.
Peter
Falcone, R&D manager
Peter Falcone is the Product Development Manager
at SFPC, responsible for improving existing product
performance and bringing new products to commercialization
in support of market opportunities, Pete has been
with SFPC for 11 years; he hold both BS and MS
degrees in Chemical Engineering from Villanova
University and is a registered professional engineer
in Pennsylvania and Delaware.
Joe
Lovett, Vice President, Sales - North America with
SBM-IMODCO
Joe has more than 40 years experience in the
oil and gas industry, primarily in the offshore
area. Joe has a varied background in terms of
experience, having held positions in engineering,
construction, and offshore operations. Over the
course of his career, he has held positions at
ABS, Marathon Le Tourneau, Deep Oil Technology,
and the last 14 years with SBM-IMODCO.
Frank
Maupay, LNG sales engineer, Selas
Fluid Processing
Frank M. Maupay is a Sales Engineer for the LNG
vaporization group of Selas Fluid Processing formerly
T-Thermal. Frank has over 10 years of experience
designing and marketing custom built thermal processing
equipment. He has published articles in trade
journals and is a member of the AGA Supplemental
Gas Committee. Frank has a BS in Mechanical Engineering
from Drexel University.
Bob
Nimocks, president, Zeus Development Corporation
Zeus Development Corporation is an energy research
firm that focuses on world gas development. The
company commonly serves manufacturing and oilfield
service clients evaluating markets for their products
and services in the LNG, GTL, methanol, DME, IGCC
and gas-export-related markets. Zeus publishes
a number of market-related periodicals, including

and www.GasMonetizer.com
and organizes workshops, conferences and training
programs.
Prior to founding Zeus in 1991, Nimocks was vice
president of corporate development for Elders
Resources North America, the North American division
of an international energy and natural resources
company with substantial natural gas production.
He earned an MBA from Harvard University (1987),
served in the management consulting division of
Accenture (1981-84) and obtained BS and BBA degrees
from Mississippi State University (1981).
Jim
O'Sullivan, Technip
Jim
O'Sullivan is Senior Vice President of Strategy
& Marketing for Technip USA, the North American
Business Unit of Technip, a world leader in engineering
and construction for the oil & gas industry.
Mr. O'Sullivan is responsible for developing business,
marketing and new product strategies for the Americas.
He has 30 years of experience in the oil &
gas industry, covering technology development,
engineering, project management, commercial project
development and multiple business related activities.
He received a BS in Mechanical Engineering from
North Carolina State University, a Masters in
Ocean Engineering from MIT, a Professional Ocean
Engineers Degree from MIT and Woods Hole Oceanographic
Institution, and an MBA from Rice University's
Jones Graduate School of Business.

Poldervaart , SBM
Leen
Poldervaart joined Single Buoy Moorings Inc in
1975 and started as Concept Engineer. Hereafter
as Project Engineer, Project Manager for studies
on FSO's and FPSO's based on new built or converted
vessels and Engineering Manager for two installed
F(P)SO's. His present position is Business and
Product Development Manager in the SBM Gas Business
Development Group.
Leen presented numerous technical papers during
the OTC, DOT and other technical conferences,
is member of the SPE and holds patents on different
type of offshore floaters and mooring systems.
John
Romain, president, Energy & Chemicals Division,
Chart Industries
John
T. Romain is President of the Chart Energy and
Chemicals, Inc. Chart Energy & Chemicals,
Inc. was formed to focus many of the technical
strengths of Chart Industries on the natural gas
and petrochemical markets. John has been the President
of Chart Energy & Chemicals, Inc. since its
formation in 2003. John has been with Chart since
1993 in various positions. Prior to joining Chart,
John spent nine (9) years in various positions
associated with the Oil and Gas industry in Cleveland,
London and Houston.
Mr.
Ed Vogel is a senior LNG sales / product engineer,
submerged combustion LNG vaporizer systems for
Selas Fluid Processing Corporation a subsidiary
of Linde AG, Munich Germany.
Vogel has been involved for 40 years in the design,
engineering and sales of Heat Transfer systems
for diverse companies such as General Electric,
Westinghouse, Selas Corporation of America and
Selas Fluid Processing Corporation. He is a member
of American Gas Association, LNG Supplemental
Gas Committee Member for 25 years. Published AGA
Technical papers, 1983, 1986, 1993, 1994, 1996,
2002, on SUB-X® Vaporizer Topics.
Mr. Vogel received his BS from Drexel University,
and also the has taken classes at the Institute
of Gas Technology & New York University Cryogenic
Program.
John
Wolff, director, LNG, Zeus Development Corporation
John Wolff joined Zeus Development in 2004. He has
over 30 years of experience in the energy business.
Prior to joining Zeus Development, he was a partner
in Brett & Wolff LLC. He prepared various
studies on CNG, LNG and biogas. He prepared an
economic assessment and design evaluation for
transporting natural gas as either CNG or LNG
on the Amazon River for American Commercial Barge
Lines and Petrobras. He contributed to Zeus' CNG
Ocean Transport Study 2004.
Mr. Wolff had also been the Manager of Business
Development for Panhandle Eastern's and then Duke
Energy's LNG marketing and sales business that
imported LNG at the Trunkline LNG terminal. He
prepared models to improve business decisions
in the business units that included the affiliated
LNG shipping business, the LNG importing/marketing
business and the Trunkline LNG terminal. He prepared
joint venture agreements and technology assessments
to increase the profitability of the Trunkline
LNG terminal, including gas processing and cold
recovery projects. He helped structure short-term
LNG purchase contracts and assessed aspects of
the long-term LNG contract between Duke Energy
and Sonatrach.
Jack
Young, principle engineering specialist, Bechtel
BS in Ceramics Engineering, University of Missouri
- Rolla, 13 years with Bechtel in Houston Materials
Engineering Technology, responsible for Non Metallic
materials including ceramics, concrete, fireproofing,
insulation, refractories, plastics, elastomers,
and glass. Previously 9 years with Amoco in Materials
Technology Group, Naperville, Ill., Corporate
Research and 10 years with Babcock and Wilcox,
Insulating Products Division.
