Introduction

Effective, long-term insulation of liquid natural gas piping and components (at -260° F) demands product attributes and installation expertise that push the envelope of insulating systems. Today, terminal owners have a number of choices as new products and technology continue to arrive on the market. This workshop will review a recent case study of insulation at Elba Island LNG terminal, with the manufacturer, fabricator and contractor who worked together as a team for a success project. We will also hear from two manufacturers who will review new technology and products on the market.
