Per-Christian Fett, Fearnley Offshore

Per-Christian W. Fett, is leading Fearnley Consultants Houston office, which is a branch office to Fearnley Consultants in Oslo, Norway. Fearnleys is an international shipbrokering and consultancy company. Mr. Fett is focusing on oil and gas transportation at sea, with special attention to the LNG shipping markets.

Mr. Fett holds a MSc degree in International Shipping from University of Plymouth, UK, a BSc degree in Marine engineering from Norway, is a Leutenant in the Norwegian Navy and has seagoing experience on crude oil tankers, navy vessels and oil rigs.

 


Bjørn Markussen, senior advisor, Höegh LNG

Mr. Bjørn Markussen has experience from research-, engineering-, marketing-, business development and commercial operation of various types of gas vessels.

He worked 10 years for Det norske Veritas, involved also in developing LNG- and LPG carrier containment systems and gas vessel design.

He worked 4 years with Gotaas-Larsen, Inc in New York and London as Manager of LNG Marketing. As President of Norwegian Gas Carriers, Oslo he was responsible for business development and commercial operation of a fleet of ethylene and LPG carriers. He was President of Westgas AS, a subsidiary of Westfal-Larsen, Bergen until the fleet of Semi-refrigerated LPG carriers was sold to A. P. Møller.

Mr. Markussen is now acting as Senior Advisor to Höegh LNG, and he is holding an MBA and M.Sc. in Naval Architecture.

 

 

Jim O'Sullivan, Technip

Jim O'Sullivan is Senior Vice President of Strategy & Marketing for Technip USA, the North American Business Unit of Technip, a world leader in engineering and construction for the oil & gas industry. Mr. O'Sullivan is responsible for developing business, marketing and new product strategies for the Americas. He has 30 years of experience in the oil & gas industry, covering technology development, engineering, project management, commercial project development and multiple business related activities. He received a BS in Mechanical Engineering from North Carolina State University, a Masters in Ocean Engineering from MIT, a Professional Ocean Engineers Degree from MIT and Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution, and an MBA from Rice University's Jones Graduate School of Business.

 

 

Bob Nimocks, president, Zeus Development Corporation

Zeus Development Corporation is an energy research firm that focuses on world gas development. The company commonly serves manufacturing and oilfield service clients evaluating markets for their products and services in the LNG, GTL, methanol, DME, IGCC and gas-export-related markets. Zeus publishes a number of market-related periodicals, including the www.LNGExpress.com, www.SyngasRefiner.com and www.GasLeads.com and organizes workshops, conferences and training programs.

Prior to founding Zeus in 1991, Nimocks was vice president of corporate development for Elders Resources North America, the North American division of an international energy and natural resources company with substantial natural gas production. He earned an MBA from Harvard University (1987), served in the management consulting division of Accenture (1981-84) and obtained BS and BBA degrees from Mississippi State University (1981).
